IHH plans 350-bed hospital in Chengdu

IHH Healthcare Bhd is teaming up with Shanghai Broad Ocean Investments Co Ltd with plans to set up a 350-bed tertiary hospital in Chengdu, China in a move to be a leading international healthcare provider in Greater China and Hong Kong.

The company said yesterday its indirect unit M&P Investments Pte Ltd and its local Chinese partner, Shanghai Broad Ocean Investments Co Ltd would undertake the project.

The new ParkwayHealth Chengdu Hospital will be IHH’s first tertiary facility in Western China, under its largest operating subsidiary Parkway Pantai Ltd.
